i'd take the gsr, alot more potential. The prelude has a great motor, it's just to heavy of a car.

Bang for the buck would be the GSR. Stock for stock its lighter with comparable power. Both have plenty of potential though.

ok, i'll go against the crowd and say the prelude.
if it's the type-sh! j/k

no, really... i always liked the prelude over the GSR.
sure, it's heavier.... but from a design stand point,
i'd lean towards the lude.

ok, so i'm more for show than go....

If you want a lude I would get this one and be one of the few right hand drive ludes in the US.

I would get the integra only if i got the type r front conversion. Those headlight on the US models look to fuckin girly. Otherwise i would get a prelude with turbo. the extra weight makes it handle a worlds different. Once you get a turbo you would't be able to feel the weight.

How much does the lude weigh anyways?

iS it more then the cl?

Heres the specs for the 98s (with blue book prices):

GSR - 170hp/128tq - 2665lbs - 12k
SH - 195hp/156tq - 3042lbs - 15k

for comparision:

3.0 - 200hp/195tq - 3215lbs - 15k
2.3 - 150hp/152tq - 3004lbs - 14k

the CL torque #s don't look right but thats whats listed

yea i agree that the lights do look girly but the conversion is so expensive the cheapest i found it was for 1700

i actually came reaaaaaaaalllllll close to getting an integra with the conversion before i got the cl.

plus Look at the torque the prelude has against the gsr. overall i think i would get the prelude. For hp/tq plus looks. Remember "if your trying to pickup girls in the thing you are better off with the one that looks more expensive!!!!!"

I have beat gsr's in my 2.3 but I have never came even close to beating a prelude sh.

Although, of coarse the lighter car always comes out on top BUT HOW MANY GOD DAM PEOPLE HAVE A INTEGRA/CIVIC AN DHOW MANY HAVE PRELUDES.

i could leave my house and count 10 integra/civics before i get to the store without seeing one lude. but i NEVER SEE CL's LOL.

Don't get me wrong I love them all but you have to put alot of things into consideration. myself, i am ALL GO no show. i dont care about how the cr looks. i just wanna spank stangs with a paddle. i am getting a civic hatch to race - why ? because its fuckin light as hell.

You decide bro. your the one that will be driving it.

i would go for the teg with the type-r conversion, first it's a "acura" a supposed higher division of honda, i would rather prefer to tell people i drive a acura then a honda, the lude looks nice and all, and for the rarity, up here in california, i see as many teg's as i see preludes, it's just a matter of location

The integra is as cramped as the prelude if not more. The are both good cars, but the integra might be a little bit easier to make faster because its lighter. Then on the other hand, the integra is alot more common than the prelude- which I dont like having the same thing as 50% of the other people on your block.

i like the feedback. I like to hear truly what people think. <- you know... without the bullshit!

basiclly we all have a view and we are trying to explain it to a user in search for opinion.

this is how most message boards should be but =)

I would get the prelude over the GSR. Integra's are the top stolen car in the USA. I would take the displacement and torque over the GSR's 1.8L. It is all a matter of opinion though...

it dont matter! if somone wants to steal your car... it will be stolen. its not that hard... all cars have similar things. personally i dont like the body of the prelude will the front but i like the back. but i like the poer it has. the integ is just too comon but then again the more common the better to find parts... up to you. but i'll take a prelude cuz it just looks a little more classier.
