best headers = COMPTECH
exhausts you will have to pick and choose cause there isnt one for our car.. see if comptech makes one for 94-97 accord.. but not for CL...

u cannot buy comptech header for a f23 or f22. they dont make them. dc sports is the way to go. u have to buy for a 94-97 accord EX they have the same f22b engine which is same as f23 basically. expect maybe 2-4hp gain from the header. and some or u low end back if u lost it to a cai and exhaust. also buy the ceramic. they keep heat in and weigh less the stainless. if ur gonna drop ur car low buy stainless cuz if u hit the ceramics ull crack them. and far as exhuast. 94-97 accord. greddy, dc, i personally like HKS.

acuradan69 has a 98 2.3 CL. Comptech only makes exhaust systems for the 3.0's. That's why he can't buy the Comptech exhaust system.

If you put on headers and exhaust do you have to loose low end power? It would be nice not to for all that normal driving around town when its not floored.

f22 is a 2.2liter SOHC I4 145hp vtec. found in 94-97 accord and 97 2.2 cl.

f23 is a 2.3liter SOHC I4 150hp vtec. found in 98-99 2.3cl and 98+ accord I4s

h22 is a 2.2liter DOHC I4 200hp vtec. found in newer ludes.

j30 is a 3.0liter v6 SOHC 200hp vtec. found in 97-99 3.0cl and 98+ v6 accord

this info is only for an I4. so 2.2 or 2.3cl
also installation of a aftermarket 4-2-1 header typically will help offset low end lost to things such as a cai and cat back exhaust. and some gain in mid end. a 4-1 header will result in even more loss in low end but large gain high end. also i would buy ceramic if ur car isnt dropped low. they will crack easily if hit. ceramics weigh less then stainless and they keep the heat in of the exhuast gasses better then stainless. which helps keep engine compartment temps lower and helps the flow out ur exhaust.

I'm pretty happy with my Bosal/Brospeed header and cat back system. Sounds decent, has the nice dual tipped muffler, and was a nice surprise first time driving it after the install.
