I personally would just go with the 1st one... The other ones looks better standalone but at least the green matches ur interior lights rite? i'm assuming that ur temp. controls and speedometers are green... i've got a blue deck that looks kickass but then the color clashes... DOES NOT MATCH

I have the 2nd Alpine, in the mp3. Im not too fond of the blue lights that contrast with oem green. My Kenford excelon just took a crap, and I really dont recomend the others.

My vote stick w/ the 1st ALPINE, great sound and build quality. Speaking from experience, been into car audio hard core since96

i don't know much about decks, but pretty interested in getting one now, i like the panasonic one with the black chrome, but as i ask around, people are pretty negative about it, the alpines are starting to look a little more appealing now

one question i wanted to ask was, how does the deck install? will i need some sort of adapter from acura to hook it up to the speakers or something, or does it plug in right into the factory wires that went to the bose deck?

Ever thought about the CDA-7894. It's a really sweet deck. You can change the colors from green to amber. I just got rid of mine for the Clarion touchscreen DVD. The sound quality is awesome. Only thing is it doesn't take much for the display to dim.

the cda-7894 looks nice, but kinda pricey, how much of a difference does the alpine decks vs like the panasonic deck that i wanted to get make in sound?

I have reported no issues with my aging Panasonic unit. It has served me just fine, at least for my needs. Perhaps I haven't had the opportunity to be spoiled by the other makes.

I just wouldn't trust anything Panasonic except cordless phones and batteries. Panasonic and Aiwa are the same company, and Sony makes Aiwa. So if that tells you anything...... Alpine has always and still does make a great amplified head unit. Not to mention all the very usefull features that they encorperate. Hp, LP filter, abillity to turn to amp off if you get an external one. etc..Go with the Alpine. If you really want good sound quality, get an exclipse. Lil on the expensive side, but worth it. PLus mines looks dope in my car and i have a 1st gen in Pearl Flamenco Black.

the 7894 are only like 50 bucks more that the 7893 model. For the 50 bucks more you get MP3/WMA and a few other small features. Did you ever look at the Pioneer Primier DEH-8400? Those are also nice but still a littl pricey. It also gives you an option to hook up a screen later if that's what you like.

the alpine cda-9813 looks nice, but very expensive, is it worth it? 400 bucks in crutchfield, is there an identical model like this one without the wma and mp3 capabiltiies?

if ur going for sound quality, alpine is the best of those choices in performance, and they look nice and simple. try eclipse heads, it matches well with the interior of our cars
