Berlina Black.......Suede......come check it out!! (56k NO!!)
Just thought I'd share with you what three weeks in a body shop can do for your CL.....
1)No more dents, dings, scratches or chips
2)A shiny new paintjob - Acura NSX "Berlina Black"
3)Black suede headliner, visors, and moonroof door

It was NOT DIY, I think they used all the paint they had. I don't really care about the flaps, as long as the bottom pieces were done.

I say just take the mudflaps off. if you need any help/advice taking care of that new paint, you know i'd be more than glad to help. Seems that NSX colors are all the rage recently.

That looks really good. and I know pictures don't do it justice.
1 question about the sideskirts being painted.
Are they perfectly smooth, or do they have sort of a "pebbled" finish? "Pebbled" meaning, they painted over the factory textured plastic finish, as opposed to being primed with flexible primer, and surfaced (sanded) smooth.
The only reason I ask is because that is the next thing I will be painting on my car, and flexible primer is a pain in the ass to sand. If it's not that noticable that might be a step worth skipping.

paint looks good, but you do see black CL's. If it were my choice, i would have done a more rare color, but the quality looks great. The suede is just straight pimp too Way to be original on that

ENGAGE MY VTEC BABY!!!!!!
nice job man
the paint job is clean but i would have made a more rare colr like ding said to stand out or add a pearl or something to it to stand out
but still a nice job and great work, what did youpay for the liner to be done and the paint job?

Thanks again guys, it ran me about $2000 for the paint and the paint job. The suede for the headliner was $100, and the visors were $25 apiece. A local guy did it so it wasn't very expensive. I'll try and get better pics when it's all cleaned up and everything.
The lower pieces are painted, I didn't really rub them, but they appear to be smooth. I'm fairly sure they sanded and primered.
As for the Berlina Black, I think using eye catching paint is kind of a cop out (no offense Eric ), so I like my car to get looks due to the mods, not because it's lime green. And rather than doing the Flamenco Black Pearl that's on every other 1st gen CL, or even Nighthawk on the 2nd gen, I decided to keep the spirit of the car, but to make it better. SO I picked the only other Acura black, the NSX black. It's much more glossy than the normal black, I'm sure you could tell the difference if it was parked next to a stock paint CL. But as long as I'm happy with it, that's all that matters
