good responses.. Tell your friend he needs a two story cardboard wing on the ass end of his car, it will do as much for his downforce as duals will do for his performance.

and please, get your info straight if you're going to make claims like that... compare the TSX to the vehicles that it competes with: A4 2.0t, IS250, Mercedes C-Class, and the BMW 325... performance wise, it matches up just as well as these cars while @ the same time, coming in @ a lower price and already loaded with standard features.

It's not true duals the tsx has a "Y" after the mid pipe that goes to two muffelers giving the illusion of dual exhaust. Real duals on v6's v8's v12's ect have two independent collectors from the header, usually a "H" or "X" pipe in the middle of the two independent pipes, and two muffelers.

ok we get the point that i4's cant have true dual exhaust but were talking about 4 cyl civics and such.... so what would you call them to make you happy. twin exhaust?

Three Wheelin'
You're friend was mislead. If you're pushing 130 - 170 hp at the wheels a 2.25" exhaust is plenty, 180 - 220 whp a 2.5" exhaust and more than 220 a 3" exhaust will work, but you'll sacrafice bottem end power. Turbo Civic's generally run 3" exhausts because they always try to push a little more boost and the 3" allows them room play with.
Dual exhaust systems on ricer Civic's are usually hack jobs and probably hurt performance.
Tell your friend if dual exhaust is better, than tripple exhaust must be best!

Most cars these days are single w/ this method. Even the V6 honda/acuras are the same way

ahhh nice the bugatti veyron W16 quad turbo motor putting out 1001 hp, top speed of 250+mph, 0-60 in 3 sec, and a nice price of $1,000,000 or so. The best part is that the engine sucks about 1.33 galons of fuel per MINUTE! So i think that you can pretty much watch the fuel guage go down... LOL

This is still one of my favorite threads, where he started a thread to talk about how he is a and how he used to be a when he got banned. Seems to be a recurring theme.
