damn i hate that high idle too. I had an issue with that also on my swap, but mine was a serious brake booster leak. glad to see you making progress!

New images!
Ok, here are some more recent pics from the project. I still have some small things to clean up but nothing I am worried about right now. Please no comments about lowering the car because its just not practical right now. It was lowered on Eibach springs when I bought it but have since put it back to stock with some 255 series tires. Thats how I like it .

Yes I had room to keep the front engine mount. To tuck the FMIC I had to cut into the bumper support a little but nothing major. The only problem i have is that my ac lines will not work with the downpipe. I am going to have some new ones made to fit once it warms up a little.

Had a small oil leak from the oil pan gasket for the first 3 months after the build which I finally got around to fixing last month. The ac lines wouldn't work with the downpipe and I couldnt find anyone local to make custom ones to fit my compressor so I had the downpipe redone. They had to bend the lines a little as well (lets just say it was a tight fit). Heat wrapped the downpipe to protect the ac lines a little more. The muffler was sprayed flat black, helped a little with the appearance.
Once I graduate in May and land a job Ill finish the build with:
Lowering it again on the Eibach springs I removed 2 years ago
Add a boost and oil pressure gauge
New muffler (probably the WS2)
Finally paint my subwoofer box, or maybe just cover it with carpet
Locate some 17" wheels
Take it to the track when my friend finishes his boosted teg
Other than that the car drives great, ac blows cold, and I am finally graduating! Ill post up more pics whenever I get something else done.

Thanks, I just did a real simple boosting project. Nothing crazy like some of the guys on here are working on. Post pics when you finish, I like seeing how others did their setups.

Just landed a job so I can use graduation money to finish up my project. Ordered boost and oil pressure gauges yesterday. Ordered the WS2 muffler today, all I will have left is a set of wheels (but Ill probably just ride stock for a while since I just bought tires last year).
Pics will be posted once everything is installed (shooting for next weekend but who knows).

Update, installed Apexi WS2 yesterday afternoon. I got it to make the car quieter but it did the opposite but doesn't sound bad at all. I will post pictures and a sound clip later this week.
Boost and oil pressure gauges were installed last week and everything is working great.
As for the car, it still runs perfect. Only downside to owning a boosted car is the gas mileage is worse, but that's partly my fault for the way I drive.

Ok so its been 7-8 months since I did the build and since my friend finished his teg this past week we decided to schedule a track day. We are going two weekends from now unless something happens. He is hoping for a 11.999 and I just want to break 15 lol. Not sure how well the CL will do on the track as its never seen it before. Ill post up some times if they aren't too pathetic.
