found out my rims are stuck in customs in california! i cant believe the whole summer went by without them. im so pissed. i ruined my winter tires driving them in warm weather and even if my rims show up by sept ill get like 2 months of use out of them before i got to go buy another set of winter tires and throw the stockers back on. im going to cry about it now.

dude when i came back from europe severl years ago (in and out of amsterdam mind you) is all customs asked me: "do you have any meat"?...dead f'n serious...i almost wanted to say no, but i have some hash, seeds, absinthe, ect...

its not just my rims in 4 boxes. the whole container ship is in customs or at least its load. bush issued some terror alert or whatever last week. idk. the info is straight from makin industries. ALL volks on that shipment are in customs right now. i will call them on monday the 16th. thats when they said it should be shipping ups. the problem is i did not order a popular rim in the us. i doubt anyone stocks it to begin with. if i got te37s i would have had them right away. i had to order my rims from japan and wait for the next shipment to makin.

but.. my rims are in here now.. and i'm paying for them...

so i think i need to wait like 2~3 weeks or more for rims..

Container number?> If you do, I can check the status for you. ****DO NOT CALL US CUSTOMS**** they will flag your shit and you will never get it. I been doing this shit for 5 years now, and yes, since 9/11, shit is ridiculous. If you have any info at all, I can try to help you out.

 

Yup, you would have had to be lucky to find a set around here. Even certain finishes on the TE's take a while to get. When they finally arrive, the last thing on your mind will be how long you waited.

It's okay, I waitted 3 months for my bronze finish a few years back. But the wait is worth it. If you decide to cancel, i could always pick it up. Did you get the polished finish? Those were the ones I was looking at (was thinking about changin out my Gt-P) but no money.

 

i got the gram lights 57 pros. the 2 orange silvias that always do drifitng contests from japan have them in gold. i went with the silver inside. these are pics of them. theres nothing i can do but cry about it and drive my winter tires into hell.
