I just got done putting the mesh in my front grille, and took the chrome bar w/ "A" symbol off-97'. Took the "A" off my trunk and put it in my grille. Then cut the screw holes off of the "A" symbol and chrome bar from the grille, put double sided tape on it and put it on the trunk where the "A" symbol used to be- looks kinda sweet!! don't know if I like it though- maybe too much- neat eihter way- I'd post a pic if I had a camera-but I don't. Anyone else done this? Just thought I'd try to add something to the forum-even if it is just something little.

dude, from the what you just described, it must look bad ass. i would try that, but i meshed my gril and put the meshing behind the wings, so i cant ; well keep up the good work

 

That sounds pretty cool. Try your hardest to post some pics...ask around, get a camera...take some pictures!!!!!

i've got a little modifying to do first-the only problem is - the very tips of the chrome bars bend out slightly- so it doesn't lay flush at the very tips....can't really notice it - but I'm too much of a freakin' perfectionist so I'm gonna have to get some bondo or something and fill in the gap- but then there won't be chrome where the bondo is- so I don't know if I'll paint it or what, but I'll sure as hell let everyone know. i know if I don't get it perfect, every time I walk by it I'll want to I'm sure all of you are the same way----don't want to screw up a car as nice as a CL!!!! Anyway, thanks for the replies- you all kick ass!!!!!!!!!!!!!
