you can get the B&M Trickshift at Advance Auto or Autozone and places like that. Where i am, its about $5 a quart and you need about 6 quarts i believe...i know its kinda pricey, but the shifts are much faster and firmer and i can chirp the tires on the 1-2 upshift now!!!

Lyle,

Do you think it is bad to use the trickshift fluid?

the acura manual makes a big deal about using ONLY honda fluid....

is the performance increase noticible?

im bout to go get some now!

What is this Trickshift you guys are talking about. I have the 3.0CL and I can't even get the car to squawk, with the delay the car has with the pedal to the ground in 1st.

hey i can chirp em and smoke em up when the ground is wet. otherwise it will take some power breaking. heh. i would use red line atf fluid if anything. but again acura says not to use other fluid.

yeah i know the Honda manual is very specific about only using certain ATF fluid. I wouldnt have tried the Trick Shift myself if i hadnt known someone that had used it for over a 100,000 miles with no trouble. You can definitely tell a difference with it...the shifts are much firmer and quicker...B&M claims it reduces shift times in half, so for us with automatics, it makes a difference!!

How long have you guys been running the B&M Trick Shift in your CL's? Can you really notice that much of a change?
