I spent the whole day trying to get it on, its such a fucker. it fits on the hangers but the flange is too small cuz of a bigger thing thats supposed to go into the piping, which im grinding down on and will get it done tomorrow. another fucker is i broke both bolts getting them off, and i bought a gasket i have to wait till tomorrow to get!

any ideas of the metal piece in the way? and would it be safe to chop it off or just size it down and make it fit?
