i've had this MOMO shift boot for a long time, but i never put it on my car (1997 2.2 automatic). i came to the conclusion that you can't change put a boot on the auto CL b/c it is impossible to take off the panel you need to. but i have seen some people on this site posting mods and they say they have the auto shift boot on their cars. how do i take the panel the shift knob is on off and put the boot in my auto cl?

 

c'mon guys...anyone?

 

i also noticed this in someones thread, i cant tell you the answer...i believe i asked this before and no one answered then, i know some guys removed their plate around their auto shifter and painted them, so im sure theyre removable.....i know the rubber around it just pulls out....it gets stuck some places, but it does just pull out.....i got a feeling getting that plate off requires you remove the center console.......i dont know man, sorry i cant help!
