the amp is probably 1200 watts max at 4 ohms, if you drop it down to a 1/2 ohm, then you probably would be pushing around 1900 watts. i would buy it

Great place to ask a question. Now you'll get 50 uneducated answers from people that think they know. If you are serious you should go to a reputable car audio shop and ask them.

Huge diff between somebody that's done it once or twice. And someone that does it for a living.

Im suggesting that if you want the right answer, go to a car audio shop. A good one. If it's important that you have it done correctly.

use your p4004 for front and rear speakers. Go and buy a P6001 mono for your subs. You can control them very well with this amp + use less power to run it.

the p4004 only runs about 50X4 rms(not exactly sure, didnt check it) , and max wattage doesnt really matter. its designed for speakers, not for subs. you would be better off with a 2-channel or a mono amp to run the subs.

Or at least make a phone call....I'm sure they wouldn't have a problem telling you. Don't ruin a bunch of expensive equipment just because someone says it'll work, especially when you can get the facts for free..

Any 4 channel amp is used mainly for highs since you will be putting 2 sets of speakers to it. You can bridge everything if you are good wiht wiring. But for your subs i would go with a one or two channel amp, it will save you lots of power and not blow your amp. I also wouldn't put any amp under 2 ohms. My friend tried to do it and blew a whole bunch of fuses. It is way to much power.
But if you want to drop the ohms go to a car audio place inb your area and ask them to instal it. I know at my local Mobil one they install bass amps for about 40 -50.
