dell and hp both suck. only thing good ive seen come from dell is their servers. i'm all about the homegrown stuff.

The army uses both, and I work with both kind of servers, the dell servers 0wn the HP's, but it's ok the army is switching to all sun equipment anyway

Yes it does. My best friend builds computers and sells them. He has built some insane comps for around $1500.

thats it? they must not be that insane then. i would consider insane something like quad core and 4 SATA in RAID for a home computer. totally off topic, but this whole thread is kind of off topic. =]

I meant for the price. I know it was with top of the line stuff, but I cant talk like I know comps, cause I dont. But as for gaming, he builds some sweet as comps. No lag with the most intense games on the best settings while having other programs running. That kind of insane. It had tubes coming out of his comp because it was like a radiator, and had 2 video cards in it, and other cool stuff.

werd chris, my beast cost 1500.... only thing is, the fan is kinda loud. doesnt bother me but bothers my friends lol..
