Well, the project is in FL. He said that he was going to ship it via Fed-X. I don't have a tracking number so I wouldn't have known as he has yet to contact me and let me know that he even shipped the lamps to begin with.

 

Correction on UPS ground, I used to ship a lot of packages at a previous job,(about 200 per day) it should take no more than 6 business days. Thanks for your help.

he is waiting on ups to send him some papers to file the insurance claim since i heard they were cracked in shipment

let me know if you need anything else, i think you were suppoosed to file a claim with ups sleeper, since they were damaged in shipment that is not his fault, thats why i never use ups anymore since one day i went to their local wherehouse and saw how they handle packages, its was horrible, kicking them when the guy had too many in his hand, throwing them onto the truck, it was bad

anyways you need to file the claim with ups and then they will take care of the rest

 

better shipping practices would take care of that, a little 99 cent bubble wrap and some tape would do him good

Well, according to UPS when I called they said that the shipper is the one that needs to file the claim. Which makes sense.. I will double check with them though.. As far as UPS and shipping.. from personal experience working there.. some packages aren't treated so good... but then again i worked for many carriers and stuff happens..
Actually the items where packaged fairly well... He had them (UPS) pack it as a matter of fact.. I personally don't believe the damage was a result of shippping.. but you never know..
I'm a patient man.. and 97acura3.0cL is trying to help me out..thanks by the way.. thing is... CLver has not tried to get in contact with me... he has 2 #'s where I can be reached at and I have still not heard from him..
