well in cali, if you are found with stolen goods. they impound your car then crush it.

there gonna start in jersey crushing cars that were street racing, its becoming a serious problem in newark and jersey city. when cops gets killed at street races thats when the state is pressured to do something about it.
i think its safe to say my days of going to the races are over. unless its e-town.

^^^maybe my neighbors but idk if he would want his precious G35 or Corvette those of which ne never drives to be outside and face the elements.
the way i think about it, if someone wants it bad enough they'll get it. personally i dont think they want it that bad or else they would have been smarter about the theft. i could think of 5 things they did wrong.

Bad or not they wanted it. You need to do something.
Lojack. A Viper alarm with a backup battery and a fuel cut off switch. They wont be able to do shit to your car. Even if they manage to get inside which with the alarm it would be almost impossible to do so silently they won't be able to go anywhere with it.
I really think you messed up into going to all those meets outside Azine. You know that at every social auto meet you have your friendly neighborhood thief scouting for this next victim. I know of people driving their car back home and have gotten held up to gun point in exhange for their car. Shit happens and you need to be the person to avoid it. Im sure you have gotten followed one day and months later they start coming around to check out your wip cause they admire it so much. You have a problem on your hand. One you need resolve quickly.

i have a prostar alarm lying around in my garage that the mechanics at my job were gonna throw away. maybe you can help me rig a killswitch.
other than that i got the alpha lock and take out my ECU everynight.
i just couldnt go to AZmeets anymore, we were always the only 1st Gens there and i cant relate to the other Acura owners because of there big heads. so i go to other honda meets with cars that im interested in and people i can relate to (other than the thieves that lurk) and i guess it could potentially bite me in the ass.

alright now im really sketched out. i just followed some tricked out 4th gen prelude all the way to my col de sac through my neighborhood, going 5 under the entire time like they werent trying to be noticed, and like they knew where my car was. i pulled in and parked, hid everything worth anything, locked up my deck, every latch and everything. im sitting here with my porch light on and the street light on panic button at the ready
they pulled in to my col de sac and just scoped out my shit the entire time as they turned around.

you should have called the cops. your block is a dead end. they would have been sacked for sure. or even called your buddies with a piece n cornered em. socked em in your trunk. show em how your wip rides then drop em off about 2 hours away tied up.

Goodluck man. Try to convince your parents to let you have the garage. Your arguement can be that their cars are easily replaceable as yours BUT your mods are not. Your insurance will not cover them, and you would have lost a great deal of money. Tell them what makes your car more valuable is the time invested in it. Not sure how that will play out with your parents, but it's just a suggestion.

The world we live in is so sad when someone can't leave their car out because of some dumb worthless thief. I live in an apartment complex and I can't put my car in a garage but if you try and steal it you will regret it if the cops don't get you before I do. Texas, even little old women carry handguns.

well unforunately for me i live in liberal ass jersey. i mean my dad has a gun but i would have had no grounds on using it here.
and cocoa, my parents response to me would be "well you ruined a perfectly good car" "you would have had to worry about it, if you kept it the way you bought it" and there so right, but thats in the past.

no, im saying i followed them, like they knew where my car was, and didnt know i was behind them. they drove like they werent trying to be noticed too.
i dont have any stickers on my car, its not lowered, no rims. everything ive done is interior or under the hood.

Then how do u know they were looking for YOUR car?
#72
because they pulled into my col de sac, which has no nice cars, or at least cars that arent garaged and theft prone. they had to do a 3 point turn to turn around and they were just trying to not look at me and get away as quickly as possible without being noticed

damn dude. that sucks. seems like ever since you got that h22 swap you've just been having all kinds of bad luck.
lucky for me, the whole tuner thing is pretty low-key in rural MS. when i get my swap, everyone could know about it, and i could leave my ride on the side of the interstate for a month and no one would touch it.

i haven't replied to this yet
anyways, that sucks that ppl were checkin your shit out. I had the same problem with my dad about letting me get the garage over his 7th gen accord. I ended up winning the battle though cuz she sleeps everynight in the garage.
