I don't know but they sell the ashtray specifically for your CL for $25.86 (w/o shipping) on acuraautomotiveparts.org, (under console). You can always check out a nearby junkyard, for Accords or CL's if you wanna be cheaper.

Good info guys. I want to put the ashtray in because when I put change in the stock fet lined non-astray they some falls down inside the damn console every time I open it!

Can anyone tell me how to remove the felt lined non-ashtray without breaking it?!?!?!

 

Get a pioneer XM Radio FM modulated unit. That goes right in the ashtray place. Fits like a glove!

 

Thanks for the suggestion but I really just want a usable change tray.

Does anyone know how to keep change from just falling out the back into the console? I spoke to my dealer's service manager and he said it's just a design flaw and there's nothing you can do about it.

 

Falling from the change tray to the left of the steering wheel? I've never had any problems with mine unless I put way too much in there.

If you want to remove it though you just pull on it. It shouldn't break. Its held in by a couple pieces coming off the sides of it. Just use a little bit of force and she'll pop right out.

 

This is a 2003 CL-S. The change tray is in the center vertical console in place of an ashtray. Acura says that you can't remove it without disassembling the console.

 

ahh...being on the first gen board i just assumed we were talking about a 1gen...dont mind me i'm just simple...
