Hey guys,

I saw an 97 Acura CL in Performance and Sound Magazine (www.pasmag.com), and it had a Arospeed coilover kit with tokico shocks. I was wondering if anybody had this Arospeed coilover kit and whether it was worth buying? The car itself is pretty nice, check it out.

 

yea i saw that CL on HCI magazine also.

Iam a big fan of that car.

 

arospeed i believe is also same as maxspeed and other kinds of " generic coilovers "all Taiwan stuff, all made from the same place just looks different my friend had a set of arospeed coilovers in his ek hatch..the ride quality sucks..maybe if it wasn't set so low it would be better not too sure..but thats just my experience with it, depending on level of quality you prefer...some say its " alright " alotta people say its not....guess it should be decent for daily driving..but if your into taking corners real hard or you go autocrossing..name brands the way to go... teins full coilovers, ground control w/ after market shocks/struts like tokico..kyb...should be pretty good...spring and shocks combos aren't bad at all either....for first gens don't you guys lower alot to reduce the fender/wheel gap??? I was planning on getting the neuspeed race springs (2"+ drop) and either tokico hp (blue) shocks or kyb agx shocks. I heard that the kyb's are shouldn't be used with a drop of more than 1.5"?? Is this true. Haven't heard anything on the tokico blues.

Which shock would go better with the Neuspeed race springs?

or
Tokico HP Blues

 

alot of peeps got eibach sportline springs with KYB AGX GAS SHOCKS

I THINK u can use the kyb's with a 1.5 drop or more.

right?
