argh, lost my stereo code!
Can't find the damn card... this was the 2nd day I've had to drive to work (about 3 hrs total) with no stereo!!! Guess I'll either be going to the dealer or getting a new headunit.
What's the point of that thing anyway? Who'd wanna steal that POS stock radio... all the anti theft code does is annoy the hell out of me!

look on the back side of the fuse door and pull out the ashtry and turn it over.
Sometimes the dealer puts the code there.
If not the dealer can get the code for you.

I think you actually have to go to the dealer, and show them proof of ownership, then they take the VIN number and look up your stereo code. If not i'll sell you a Pioneer FHP 4400 cd/cassette deck for $300 shipped. With all the wirring and brackets, just needs a new trim ring.

Opps....I meant to say trunk. Where the top trunk hood is metal, mine has a sticker there (where it closes down, between the lower middle and right hand side).

that sux man.... oh well.... when stuff breaks its time to upgrade. i personally reccomend the /////Alpine CDA7875. it's an all around powerful headunit, lots of features, it's blue and silver, remote and comes with XM radio support.
.
not tryin to sell you on it... just listing out a good option.

yeah, there is no way they should charge you...i just went through this last week all I did was call up the local honda dealership and they looked it up free of charge...all you need is the serial code number which is on the back of the stereo i believe...call a diff. dealership!

Yeah, this is the same dealer we bought the car from... they said since we never brought it in for service within a year from the date we bought it, they erased our info.
Where's a good place to get Alpines, anyway? I was thinking of last year's Blaupunkt Casablanca that they have at Crutchfield for $200.
