Anyone's A/C does this...?

I almost always have my windows down but when I put them down and turn the A/C off there's still a lot of air coming from the vents. It feels like it's from the A/C because it's really cold air. It drives me crazy. When I run the 1/4 mile I feel the air. Is there something i'm missing here?

You have to close the vents by pressing the button on the top right. It lights up yellow when its pressed.

I do close the buttons on passenger and driver side but it just blows more air through the middle. At first I thought it was just air from outside but i'm sure it's the A/C. It doesn't happen to you? Anyone else have the same problem.

No dennis, hit the recirculate button on the AC controls. It's the top right button with a circle arrow. It switches between fesh outside air (light off) and recirculated inside air (light on).

I was once told by a service tech that all automobiles were required to recirculate 10% of the cabin air per minute and there is a built-in "bleed factor" utilizing the flow through ventilation system. bs or for real? don't know.
