Short Ram

Cold Air

Did they fit? They're made for the 3.0 Accords.

From what I can find out so far....

It's basically a base ram-air intake. Then you can get it with the "box" which is an extension that will feed cold air to the filter. Or w/o the "box", but it as a cover over the filter.

But for $249 for the cold air isn't bad. I think it looks unique and sophisticated.

No, I didn't get rid of my AEM SRI, but it is off of my car. For all those who are wondering what we are talking about, I was very unhappy with the AEM SRI. It made this irritating hum at idle. I'm not talking about the "hissing" or "snorting" when you rev. It's a long droning noise. It just became unbearable.

This is why I'm looking for alternatives. The Volant system appears to be a quieter system, because of the materials.

Ghander--- did you get that seat taken care of?

What's an AEM SRI?

Oh, where are you looking to get the Volants from? Most online retailers I've looked at so far only sell them for trucks.

AEM = Advanced Engine Managment (a performance manufacturer) located in Hawthorne, California

SRI = Short Ram Intake - Check out www.aempower.com

Have'nt really looked at purchasing yet (still researching), but you are right they mainly make intakes for trucks.

Let us know what you find out about purchasing.

I think it looks pretty nice-just like the comptech intake for the 2nd gen cl. You may be happier with this one, but the only way to know is if you try it.
