I just bought a used remote form ebay (anyone looking for one great place to get it) Only problem I don't know how to program it. If any does please send me the instructions. Thank you. I Don't want to go to the dealer there a fucking rip-off. they want $30 to proram it.

 

Well first welcoe to the board, and my advice for future questions is to search! Some people don't like reposts to much so that will save you some flaming.

But here you go

Programming the Transmitter

NOTE:

Entering the programming mode cancels all learned transmittter codes, so none of the prviously programmed transmitters will work. You must reprogram all the transmitters once you're in the programming mode. The system accepts up to four transmitters.

To keep the system from exiting the programming mode, complete each step within 5 seconds of the previous tep, and program the transmitter s within 10 seconds of each other

1. Turn the ignition switch ON.
2. Press the LOCK or UNLOCK button on one of the transmitters (A non-programmed transmitter can be used for this step.)
3. turn the ignition switch OFF.
4. Repeat steps 1, 2, and 3 two more times with the transmitter used in step 2.
5. Turn the ignition switch ON.
6. Press the LOC or UNLOCK button on the same transmitter. Check that the power door locks cycle to confirm that you're in the programming mode.
7. Press the LOCK or UNLOCK button on each transmitter. (You can program up to four transmitters per vehicle.) Check that the power door locks cycle after you push each transmitter button, confirming that the system has accepted the transmitter's code.

Turn off. Pull key out.


If just replacing the battery sync the transmitter to the system by pressing the LOCK or UNLOCK button six times

 

put the key in the ignition turn the key on and off three times(with out starting the car) on the third cycle hit lock then unlock on the remote. if this doesnt work let me know i have it written down in my owners manual.
