anybody else got koni yellows on their cl?
im just bout to order my koni yellows but i got one prob. i want both front and rear to be adjustable with the knob up top and both to have the adj spring perch so i can drop the car down another 15-20mm (.25-.5 ")
i found the fronts
8041-1185R Sport
8041-1185R Sport
but for rear koni #
is 8041-1168 SP4
everyone i go to wants to sell me
8040-1176 Sport they dont have the adj spring perch
so i called autocarparts.com and they said that
8041-1168 SP4 is actually a neuspeed part made by koni.
is this true?

VXCL, where have you been it seemed like you dissapeared for a while. I just wanted to tell you that you were one of the people that inspired me to mod my cl. Oh, and sorry I don't have what you are looking for.

ok that is true i found out. n e ways n e one have them? cuz without those u ahve to take the rear shocks off the car with the 1176 sports to adj them. boo!!!!

REALLY. that makes me feel good. i had to finish up college and i just built a new comp but now i m done and back home. ill be redoing my web site asap. and ill actually have the hows written up finally with pics!!! now im tryin to get ready for ross's show, obviuosly im bout to drop my car. but i got some rims and tires commin. some engine eye candy, and a rear body lip. maybe sideskirts if i have time.

I have a 3.0 with Koni yellows that have the adj damper rate on top and adj spring perch. The spring perch is not like coilovers and you must take out the shock to adjust them (only 2 settings regulaor low) unless your springs are really short and you don't need to compress them. You do not need to take them off to adjust the damper rate thought. The model #'s I got are for 94-97 Accord V6, I believe the Koni catalog lists the CL's shocks the same as the Accord.
