antifreeze

do you guys use it down there in the states, i got mine from DC but it coulda came from anywhere downthere. it was salvage titled

my fluid is pink, how cold would it be good for?

its gets to -40C sometimes here in calgary

you have to do a hydrostatic test. (i think thats what its called.) go to the auto store and get a coolant temperature limit reader.. it has a rubber ball at the end and a hose at the other end.. you take off your radiator cap and put the rubber tube in and squeeze the ball and release it.. it will suck some antifreeze in and then you hold it up level and the needles point to a certain temperature. one will be its freezing point, and the other will be the boiling point. its used to make sure you have the correct water/coolant mixture.

is it gonna damage my engine if the antifreeze freezes? cause the car isnt gonna be driven this winter... no license or insurance.

Damn, members on this forum are as bad as mustang owners. Every mustang owner I know has no license, or insurance, or inspection, or al of the above. A lot of CL s are going that way now too it seems

i dont have it cause mine got suspended.... doesnt mean i drive it.... sometimes to the corner shop or something close. slapped on a old 2003 plate passed a couple of cops with it too, no problems haha knock on wood

is coolant the same thing as antifreeze??? does coolant have anti freezing capabilities?
