anti-roll (sway bars)
People always talking about them, but don't our CL's already come w/ anti-roll bars? I swear I read somewhere that they do.
...and are they the same as strut towers?

ok.. your anti-roll bars aka sway bars are on your cl... frtont and rear.. however stock sways are 1" hollow, which provides you with stability but comfort and quiet a bit of roll... aftermarket sways like comptech or suspension dynamics make an upgraded 1" bart thats solid, for stiffer corning and better performance all around... if you are considering them, DO IT!! well worth the $$$... try and see if comptech makes one for your car, optherise try autocarparts.. I bought suspension dynamics through a buddy of mine.. GOOD LUCK!!! post pics

Swaybars (aka anti roll bars, and NOT aka strut tower bars) effectively increase the spring rates only while cornering by connecting the left wheel to the right wheel via a metal tube. Lift while accelerating and dive from braking are unaffected.
Increasing the spring rate at one end of a car while leaving the other end alone causes that end to do more work. For example, I installed a 20mm rear swaybar on my WRX wagon in place of the 17mm stock one on Friday. At the races this weekend, I found it to be much more neutral (less terminal understeer), have a bit less body roll, and be more tossable because the rear tires are doing more of the workload than before.
Front swaybars make for sharper turn in. Rear swaybars add to the tossability and can possibly cause a lot of oversteer and a spin in the hands of an inexperienced driver.
Having too big a swaybar results in "crosstalk," or the left wheel being forced downwards if the right one hits a bump, or vice versa. The suspension loses its independency & acts more like a live axled ponycar or truck.
The good news is that swaybars are usually cheap and are very easy and painless to install. Aside from tire pressures, it's an easy way to adjust the cornering behavior of your car.

Where else can you get suspension dynamics?
Comptech does not make it for our version of the CL...they said that there is not that much demand for it so it isn't worth it for them.

I have yet to find them for the CL. I believe the people that have them do a custom install and used the ones made for the Accord. Just like everything else for our cars.

Ive always thought that swaybars(in the back) on a fwd car will cause the car to understear and it is best to leave the rear alone. Am I wrong or not? Im not sure. Im new to this fwd stuff. I miss my 4 wheel drive

Yeah it does create more understeer with them on in the hands of someone that doesn't know how to handle it. I think as long as you take it easy and get used to the feel, it should be fine.
Also, the reason why comptech and stuff don't make it for us is because of the bushings! They say that we have very distinct ones that no one else uses.

honestly get them... difference is nite and day from stock sways to aftermarket sways... both are 1" tubing, but aftermarkets are solid, not hollow like stocksa so its 10x stiffer... install was nothing, but we had a lift... just a few bolts, reattching bushing the same directions and mounting it up... my problem, bad or not so bad, only hurt thr bushing not my car so... no need to worry bout that...

About the install, Casper98CL has done his and said that it's not too hard. I'm going to take a look at it when they arrive. But worst case, if I don't feel like doin' it, the place I ordered from said they'd install them for $100 to $150.
