yes it'll fit, but $300? Screw that, it's not worth it, get an ebay intake with a k&n filter. V2's are a joke

dont buy that
speaking of cheap intakes. the ebay ones right... do you think it would be benificial to get some engine paint, the heat stuff. and sand down the intake and repaint with the thermal paint it would do any good or any harm. never tried it before thought it might help keep the hot engine from heating up the intake as much or keep cold air in?????

Not sure if it would prevent anything from happening as far as keeping it from heating up or keeping cold air in, but im pretty sure you can paint it. I believe 97BlackAckCL painted his, but i could be wrong..

black ack did your intake come with the bypass valve for 40 bucks? also with the bypass valve is that gonna gurantee not to suck up water or does it just keep it to a minimum? i know how the valve works. I installed a cold air into an s2000 when i worked for a custom shop only to have the guy try to start his car in a flooded parking lot 3 days later and hydrolock his motor.. wasnt happy but we told him hed meed to be careful because that would happen if he went through deep water.

buy the v2, it gives you 50hp, especially if you put on the sticker.

AEM stickers ftw. That is the only reason why I would rather have a V2 instead of my BOMZ racing one. The sticker is better.
