And anotherone bites the dust

yup, another tranny falls prey to the power of the CL, no warning signs that I noticed at all, the tranny just sliped in 2nd real hard, then the next time it was gone, I was on my way home from work, and it went down on the on ramp onto the highway, and I work 45mins away from home, I had a good 2 hour wait, Im glad I had a PS2 put in the car

So, Im out of the CL for a few days, but I picked up my rental, a GEO METRO, watch out now, Im on the prowl,

but the guy at the tranny place is talkin about beefin up the tranny, maybe a shift kit or something, we'll see, but my hopes are high

Sorry to hear that. I'm scared that it may happen to me one day. I'll pray for all of us tonight.

Damn! That sucks!

I may be joining the "Dead Tranny" Club myself.

Have fun with the Metro!

well, my car will be ready today, they said it was the torqe converter that went bad then took out the tranny, cost me a good $1769.99 plus tax, they said theyd put a tranny cooler on but they didnt have any that fit, but if I get one they'd put it on just the same, so Im goin to be lookin at that here soon,

Im just happy to be gettin my car back, but Ill miss the Metro

I cant remember how much it was, I know it was alot cheeper then normal, cause the guy thought that the car was already dual, but, just take it down to a muffler shop and ask them, they'll let u know
