another question... do these foglights look ghetto?
well since everyone here's been sooo helpful so far concerning my car's mechanical issue... i need a lil advice on an appearance issue! the guy who had my car before me put these little oval-shaped blue-tinted APC foglights on it. here's the pic, even though they don't show up all that well... http://www.geocities.com/mesmerize915/cl.jpg
at first, i thought they were kinda cool looking, but my little brother (who drives a lime green prelude and thinks he knows evvvverything) says they look ghetto. now i'm thinking of getting rid of them or maybe switching to clear ones instead of blue. any opinions? thanks y'all

hmm i don't know why the link isn't workin for ya... it works okay here. and my brother's car really sounds worse than it is -- it's all pimped out but he actually did a nice job with it. but yea, lime green...

Not bad. I'm not big on fog lights but those look pretty nice on there. I just dislike big ass WRX style fog lamps on anything but WRXs, which a lot of ricers like to throw on their cars lately.

How about if you position them on the next plastic bracket towards the bottom? To kind of center them out. Instead of being so high up. other than that they look ok.

okay girl..imma tell you the truth because i have nothing to lose...your CL looks HOT!! but i do not like the fog lights at all...i dont like them on any CL's, yes, even dustbusters.
i just think the front end is super clean, you dont need to add fog lights.
and correction, i dont think they look ghetto, if you had a civic or integra i'd say they look fine...but you have a CL...i think they look cheap...and they clutter up the front of your very pretty car.
i got love for you and i AM so freaking happy to see another girl on this board!!

I don't particularly think the fogs look too bad. I was thinking of putting some on for my car because I wanna light up the road at night. But still contemplating....

I could take em or leave em. I am not a fan of "adding" fog lights. I dig the OG look, but it's differnet on a black car. The black looks nice with all clears on the front withthe chrome trim.

yea i agree about the black/clear/chrome look... i always said i'd never get a black car again, then i saw the CL and it was love at first sight.
as for my spyder, i sold it cuz it had a few mechanical issues that i was tired of dealing with. i loooved that car though! 
i miss it sooo much, but i think my CL's a pretty good replacement!*Sara*

for now you have enhanced visibility (of the road)
but when u take them off... your car will look sleeker
they look a bit clunky for our car... the stock ones are better
looking... just my opinion

Driving Lights
I think the driving lights look good, some better than others. By the way "Fog Lights" are yellow so they cut through the fog.
Driving Lights should be used in areas where there are no street lights or other poor lighting conditions occour such as in the country on back roads. This is a different application from "Fog Lights".

sara you look hot. like some others have said, dont get the fog lights. we know that the cl has poor lighting, but you should look into hid, or the least get silverstars for your head lights if you want more lights.
unfortunately my cl is gone in a hit and run :o(. but i still roam this board and check out what ppl do to their cl.
