Another issue with the 2.3auto.....

I notice sometimes that the car doesn't even move at all and the road is even while it's idling until I hit the gas ...feels as though I'm driving manual. Is this normal or the tranny is getting shot?

Mine used to do that too. And if it's a slight up hill, I'd roll back. WTF! After I drained and filled the tranny a few times, it stopped doing that.

tranny swap to a 5 speed may solve it

deff a good one..why would a 5spd swap make it worse? IMO only way it could be worse is if its done wrong.
