BUT.

some days, i drive my CL and think to myself

Wow, i really love this car, fuck all the speeding and weight reduction,

this car is so beautiful and feels so good to drive.


I'll take an ACURA over any japanese car any day of the week.

I was taking my girl out the other day and said "i love my baby"to which she replied "i love you too". i looked at her and said "not you my car"

I got my CL when i was 16 for $6,000.00 and it had 114,000 on it

 

girls say either..."wow nice car" or "its cute" i think i rather them say anything else but "cute"

 

My girl hates how much attention and money i give my car too

But i hear ya dragon, I LOVE MY CL, I say it to myself all the time

 

everyday is an "I love my CL" day

 

i love my MDX and i tolerate my CL...my wife's mad at me because i want to (and will) toss my cl in the gutter and buy a WRX

 

Even when she's dirty and covered in salt and grime

 

 

This reminds me of the "Do you turn around and check out your CL when you're walking away from it?" thread... haha. The CL is definately a fine piece of automotive workmanship. Personally my favourite moment is when I'm just about to open the drivers door, looking down and towards the ass end of the car.... Mmmm... What a view. Such sexy lines!

 

i love my cl's ass.that was one thing that attracted me to a 1st gen.

 

I really like the cl. Just somedays i dont like the way the front end looks. But i LOVE the back.

 

the front looks too much like an accord sometimes

 

thats what I thought too when I first bought the car... now I look at other cars and can say "Yea, thats a first gen CL up there"

 

i always hear it from the civic kids about how they can smoke me and how they are faster but i know that they are missing out on alot, the luxury, the nice ride, i can actually talk to my girl in the passenger seat rather than having to yell at her cuz i have a fart can thats louder then a commercial lawn mower inside a closed garage. i like the way my cl looks over a civic too. the car makes me look good too. i always walk down the hallways at school and hear "thats the kid with the black ac" bottomline is i enjoy that piece of artwork

I like the front end, jury is still out o the rear tho. I almost wish i didnt have a spoiler after seeing some of you guys pictures on here.

 

i actually think the car is ugly without one, i think the spoiler give the cl more character

 

i like my CL w/o the spoiler, but needs the WW lip

It just depends on what all is done with the car. I think some CL's would look awesome with them, then others look better without. Like Kleptos. That car looks awesome without teh wing. I think it would look wierd with the wing.

 

I love my CL. Everyone else dose.

I can't wait to install Tein SS-P/EDFC next month. I'll have that new car feeling again.

 

I cant wait for my wires to come in.. I'll get her tuned up and all fluids changed out... she'll be feeling brand new again too :-D

your gonna have trouble with hte EDFC, it wont fit.

after trying to get it done, theres no clearance for it.

get the SS-P though, not the SS.... i mean u could get either, but i like

how that little bit of gold looks.

 

What? Wait. I read that the SS-P/EDFC fit our cars now.

Is the hood clearance of the 94-97 Accord not the same as the 2.2/2.3 CL?

I'm pissed now. When your tried to install it how much more room do you think there would need to be for it to fit ?

Is it the hood clearance or the factory strut bar that's affecting fitment ?

 

you definately cannot use the stock strut bar.

i attempted to get the kit installed professionally.

the unit is too big.

i dunno which Tein model number you are using, but the HEX measurements differed

as well. The application did not match, i have the 90-97 accord SS-P, and i got the

EKU 1212-21 i think thats it, it didnt work, its all too big (the solenoid)
