Has anyone replaced the lenses only to find they are not focused so to speak? When I picked mine up 2 years ago, I found the low beams sucked, and the high beams were aimed perfectly.

After messing around aiming them, I found that the driver side low beam was diffused, not putting out a spot or beam, but a spread pattern that wasn't very bright. The passenger side was fine.

I adjusted the lower 10mm bolt (bottom of lense not the horizontal or vertical adjuster). This adjuster pulls/pushes the bottom of the chrome reflector closer/farther away from the lense. I also bent the low-beam reflector in a little (stuck a mini-mag flashlight in lamp socket and bent the reflector a little at a time) until it appeared to be a tighter beam.

This was a couple hour affair and I had given up then. Does anyone know the proper settings for this (not the horizontal/vertical settings)? I still hate the beam spread, but haven't bothered with adjusting the housing.

haha i have the same problem.. just live with it!

 

My ride is the same way. It's kind of annoying but maybe hyperwhites will help it out.
