I contacted 2 people on this board about a week ago from atlanta(where the shop is located). The guy there needed a cl to come in so he could check it out. I gave these 2 people his # to get in touch with him and then to get in touch with me once they figured out what was going on. As of today noone has contacted me. Is there anyone else from the atlanta area that is willing to do this? Thanks guys

some company in atlanta (i think) is custom making aluminum (real not the fake shit) trim for 1st gen CLs and the more people who are interested, the more the price drops. We're tryin to figure out if it's actually gonna happen and one of the guys is goin into the shop to get measured or molded or whatever they have to do. I think the original estimate was around $200-250 but that should go down if a lot of people are interested.

Why is this dependent on the Atl people? I went and did my part and had the door sills measured, now it is up to the manufacturer, not us. Someone was supposed to go and get the trims measured, but I have no clue if anybody did. No one followed up and said that they didn't.

I assume they didnt or else we would have heard something by now. I think its kind of shitty people say they are going to do things and then not do them. If your not going to do it, then why would you say you would? Post whoring again??

I would go get it measured, but nobody said that someone has to. If I knew they were looking for a person, I would do it. But, Jeff, the guy I met for sills, I don't think is the guy for the trim. If you know that they need someone, I'll go do it. Where are you getting this from?

I spoke to Jeff
Hey guys I don't post here alot but I do read most of the posts and this one interested me alot. I called Jeff this morning and we are supposed to meet up tomorrow (Thursday) so he can measure my dash for an aluminum kit. I conviniently live about 5 minutes from his house, so I told him that I would meet him there. I WILL have him look at my car and get some info for you guys on much and how many buys he needs.
I've been reading these Aluminum Dash Kit posts for a while and got a little tired of waiting. I'll definitely have something for you all by tomorrow. Unless he cancels on me, which he can't cuz I know where he lives.
