Alternator Problem

Got a little problem that just popped up. I just brought my car back yesterday from Acura, was having the OBD inspection and tune up done. Last night all of a sudden, my lights are real dim, my dash gets real dim, and the little battery thing pops up on my dash. I'm sure its not my battery cause i just got one like 2 months ago. Also theres this whinning noise coming from under the engine. Pretty sure its my alternator. I called acura and they told me my aftermarket warenty won't cover it. How much do you guys think an alternator would run for, at acura, and used?

If they determine it is a faulty alternator, make sure you have it fixed by a honda/acura mechanic. Most Honda alternators can be rebuilt cheaper than an aftermarket one can be bought for.

you are most likely gonna pay between 200-300 dollars for another altenator
