New rear lip (rear bumper was repainted) (front lip was also replaced by body shop [along with new front bumper])

New headers gaskets (including down pipe and pre-chamber) (but NO FUCKING HEADERS! :angry: )

New Fender (anyone need one?)

Plus various "other" replacement parts.


All I need is a good deal on a VAFC, then off to the dyno!

I don't know if you were serious when you asked if anyone needed a fender, however, as a matter of fact I do. Badly!!! As well as a rear bumper cover!!! If you could help me out that'd be great! And I'm glad your baby is almost there!!!

BTW, what is all this about your spring '03 body work? Are you going to get a body kit? I notice that you mentioned this but never understood what you really meant.

he would have had his obx headers by now but some one shafted him and i both :angry::angry: angry: we need to get his guy. who was the one that said he was going to make a special trip after work to see where this place is at? im pissed i want money and hey dust i need you help in where to start to claim this shit in small claims. let me know whats up and man hope the install is going smooth for you and how much were the type s cams? well looks like you got think going back together now and cant wait to see her when shes out of the shop. lets us know and take some pics when shes done.

James (athlonxp): The fender is for sale. It's the driver's side front fender and it's unpainted. $50.00 shipped. The body work I'm referring to is having all of the dents removed from my car, then having the entire car repainted. Also, I'll add a WW front lip, WW side skirts, and a carbon fiber hood.

Jamie: I think I'm going to get the OBX headers and get some custom piping configured.

Yeah; I'm getting the dealer to apply the teflon after the paint cures. I just sent the claim for that on Wednesday.

 

Now the damn body shop tells me that the CL won't be ready until Wednesday night or Thursday morning! :angry:

I had planned to install the rear lip and gauge cluster Thursday morning before the rain!

I think I need a garage!!!! Time to look for a new house!

Got word today that she's ready!

Picking up the CL at 8:00 am!

I'll take her for a spin, then bring her home and replace the rear lip [gouges in it] and gauge cluster (clear panel) [big ass scratch in it since I've owner the car].

Headers are on their way (FOR REAL, THIS TIME)!

I am so fucking excited!!! It's been 3 weeks!

we want pics today after youpics the baby up. we want to see the job they did on it. put you lip on and get tht baby rollin! sounds good man i need a garage too to do my crappy work too all i have is the apartment covered parking spot, you should have seen me when i tried to paint the engine pieces, i used my neighbors parking spot before he got home and you can see a red square box from the tarp i laid down. oh well the landlord gave me shit for it but i told her to shove it since my shit in the house is falling apart, i told her to fix the shit i had wrong with the house first. why does she get pissed just for me working on my car in the parking lot? oh well

First off, I'm very happy to have my car back.

BUT!!!!!!!!!!

The shop did a shitty job!!!

Paint is not that great! Hood is not seated properly! Various bolts, clips, etc are missing. There are several support brackets are missing from my bulkhead covers.

I've already spent $20.00 at the local Acura dealer, just to get some clips, so that the rear bumper won't flap.

I'm mainly pissed about the hood, the paint isn;t that great, and the hood does not look good (not flush) when closed.

I'm hesitant to take the car back, simply because I don't want to wait for the repairs (who knows how long it will take).

I can live with the paint; but I'm gonna try to realign the hood. I'll get the missing bulk head brackets installed.

Just really disappointed! :thumbsdn:

 

Good money spent deserves satisfaction.

Where I work everyones the customer and they have to be happy regardless (fantasies I know).

Dont know what they can do but I'm sure its worth going back and discussing with them.

Too funny. I just got my green 97 back on Tuesday. And we both messed up our front ends within maybe a week of each other. However my HID's are missing :angry: , but I kinda expected that stuff to happpen. My paint is ok, however I don't have foglights or clear corners anymore. I think my hood is on right. Besides parts that should've have been sprayed and the missing HID's... I think they did a pretty good job.
