ok so when i first got my car i got the reverse guages in . then bout a month ago i got the viper 790vx or xv somthing , but my question to all of you is . when i use the auto start it resets my gauges to the green color . (i usually leave em blueish ) . but if i just start the car normally its all good . .. oh but sometimes they will stay the blue color ...... its like 1 out of 10 times the will stay blue . .. and i know its not really a bid deal but it just bugs me

Bro....damn, thats kinda creepy. I got the reverse indiglo's with the 790, and mine do the same exact thing. and u're right, it does get annoying, but i deal with it. i have no clue either how to keep em blue, but it only takes like 4 seconds to switch it from green, so not that big of a deal.

Does it have something to do with which lead wire you tapped into for the gauges?

Just guessing.

I have a remote starter, and don't have that problem.

whoa....remote start? how do you turn it off if you don't use the key? o.O

You cant drive the car, it just starts it up, you still have to sitck the key in, turn it to III and step on the brakes, then you're good to go

yea if you touch the brake w/o the key in the ignition it kills the car ......

and to dust... i had the gauges instal done at my local shop.


and its still restarting to green aahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Actually, you can drive the car, say u left it in N, started it up, got in and went to Drive, you can drive....but of course, as soon as you hit the brakes, it dies. And you have to turn it to postion II, not III.

not really cause if i set the alarm the windows go up . ie then the alarm will go off if someone broke in and thats when laslo comes runnin
