I like the way the stock knobs feel, but i hate the way they look. I have an aluminm one ffrom an s2000, Its got a nice feel to it, but in the summer i burn a layer of skin off my hand everytime i drive it....

heck yes. Compared to stock the difference is definitely there, especially between third and fourth (it feels like nothing!)

I dont know how it would feel compared to what you have already though.

I'm so doing this mod now, didn't know short shifters were so cheap, probably a pretty random first mod thou. Maybe i'll do the LED mods and the blue clock mod while i'm at it. any other mods i should look into while i'm taking appart my whole car?

A TON i only have to flick my rist and....each gear is only like 1.5 inches ways feels like a rally shifter i never miss a gear it wont let me. Im spending alot of my money right now in a new tranny to cope with all the force it will be under. Carbon coated syncros costs me 234 alone

Dont even waste your money. The gear shifting is very notchy and not smooth at all.>Thats what i have,.
Go to a junkyard and find a lude.

no i cut the shaft till it was very very short, then i took the knob itself and bored it out and drilled set screw holes. then i took off the linkage peice and welded longer ones both the verticle and horizontal ( the ball ) and resemmbled i move my wrist 2 inches ( lil less ) and im in gear every time theres no play at all when in gear but you know your there since it clicks. Neutral has almost no play and its very hard to drive my car if your not used to it. But !!! if you master it, you never miss a shift and its very very very fast transitions. So fast, you can powershift every gear if clutch can take it.
