Alignment?

Alignment?
I have a little issue...my 97 3.0 seems to pull to the right when i let go of the steering wheel. Then on the highway, its a little shaky. I noticed that if I let go of the steering wheel while slowing down, it moves right and left like a vibration very quickly. The tires have been rotated and balanced...do you think its time for an alignment? I just flipped 90k miles.

Sounds like an alignment is due, when you're driving straight is your steering wheel centered? Or is it a little bit to the left? Mines off by like 2 inch to the right and pulls to the left if i dont hold it off center... i need an alignment.. i think you do too :p

lol i changed everything. i had warped rotors and i did the alignment due to all the ball joints being replaced. if i where you. change w/e you think needs changing before the alignment because every time you touch something the alignment gets thrown off again.

were they resurfaced or replace rotors? Resurfaced rotors might warp quicker. Rotors are only 50 bucks each on Advance Autoparts, pick up a few and do them yourself. Its a fairly simple job especially if you had them done last year and that little screw holding on the rotor isn't rusted on.

It doesnt shake when im braking, just when i let off the gas and let it slow down by itself...the rotors were changed last year and they just did my axles/transmission last week, so maybe that threw it off?

yea usually during acceration, i have to hold my wheel more to the left to go straight...most of the time its pretty much near center...on the highway or going about 60, you can feel a little bit where its usually smooth. the dealer wants $69.95 to do it, should I just get it done?

You might have one of your wheels unbalanced even if you just had them done recently. If the tire shop used the "stick on" weights, they might have fallen off.
I've never had warped rotors cause the steering wheel to shake under acceleration or coasting speed. Sounds like the alignment is off and possibly a bad tire. There's certain types of tire damage that can cause vibrations in the steering wheel.
