al bundy luck
just my luck, yesterday i installed my zex kit on the cl and my tcu goes out, checked it with the stock f22 ecu/tcm shifts fine, i put on the obd-1 harness with tcm and starts acting funny. no converter lock up, i have to shift manully. i'll reset it by pulling the battery wire and it start and runs fine for the first time but then i get the problems if i try to drive it again. dang.
well now i'm waiting on another tcm, a p14 from 93 prelude h23 auto. but it ran sweet with zex kit (55 shot) when it did shift right.

great pic, thats how i felt when it started acting up.
i went out today and it ran fine no cel and shifting fine, werid. maybe it was making good contact at that moment.
the reason my tcm is seperate from my ecu is cause i'm obd-1 converted and they had seperate ecu and tcu(tcm). ran into a ecu problem with the swap when i kept it auto, stock cl computer works good for the trans but not the dohc vtec f20b motor, obd-2 prelude ecu have immoblizers and tiptronic trans, so i back dated to obd-1 p13 ecu and p19 tcm from a jdm auto h22 prelude. works good but i think i might of cracked the tcm borad when i removed mounting brakets from the tcm case so it would fit snug under the dash
on a side note, has anyone every tried a manual ecu on a auto, i changed to a manual p13 out of my h22 civic last night to see if it mattered and the car runs great and picked up some power up top.crazy

its pretty tempting.
i surprised a 2008 duramax diesel today, i open the tank before leaving the house. he was at the light behind me, when we turned i could hear him gun it and start spooling, i let him get about to the rear quater then i flipped the switch and phssst, crept on pass him. felt good. also the car gets some scratch when i gun it from a stop, pretty nice for auto.

i just got my p14 tcm today(thank you USPS) hooked it up and it works great, so now i'm running on a manual p13 with mugen chip and p14 tcm on boomslang 97 accord auto obd-1 conversion harness , car runs and shifts like it came from the factory with the swap. no cel's, even got my D4 light back, crazy. i like this ecu/tcm setup better than the auto p13/p19 tcm i was using.
