How do I take off the air vents in our cars? Can I just use a flathead and pop them out or is there more to it?

 

There's a little more to it, you have to take the whole vents out, which requires a flathead and VERY careful maneuvering. There are 4 clips that hold the vents in, 2 on top and 2 on bottom, you have to be careful not to permanetely dent the dash or snap the vent trim. Once you pop those out, you can take the vent pieces off with a tiny flathead VERY carefully.
