its all a process, you just have to test but there is a wiring harness for our car, call apline and order one for your car, its easy and simple, and hey go to a local stereo shop and have them order you the harness, just an idea to help ya out
I previously had the Alpine CDA-7894. The install is pretty easy. I didn't have a wire harness because I was too cheap and knew I could do it by myself. All I did was a little troubleshooting. The only real problems I ran into was the brackets. On the stock cd player, there's a bracket that holds the cubby hole to the deck. If you don't build a "special" bracket to hold the back of the HU up the back will kind of sag. You can always go with another bracket bought from your local stereo shop too and you won't have any problems, I don't think. I liked the stock cubby so that's why I didn't op for the aftermarket one.
I thought it was a bit easier with the BOSE set up. I just got the wiring diagrams from dustbuster4 so I knew what was what. It saves having to run speaker wire from behind the headunit to the amp in the trunk. Which I always HATED. All I had to run were the RCA's the battery power wire and the remote turn on wire.
Being that the BOSE AMP is in the trunk, you can tap into those wires and run smaller amounts of speaker wire to the amp. Much nicer, and NO NOISE (engine whine). Keeping the speaker wire away from the huge power cable is the key there, oh and a good ground of course.
FYI: I grounded my amp to the back seat wall behind the upright cushions. there were some real nice stock bolts I removed/sanded down and grounded my amp too. GOOD LUCK on the install!
