After Visiting 3 Body Shops . . .
I decided to NOT install the Wings West side skirts and '96-'97 rear lip.
Way too much $$$ and 2 shops wouldn't even touch the rear lip!
So, I'm just sticking with the WW front Air Dam.
I think the side skirts would have looked out of place without the rear lip.
I forgot to ask about having the engine covers painted!
I may run them up there on Friday.
Now I wonder if it's worth getting the OEM sideskirts and rear lip painted.
Anyone want my WW side skirts and rear lip?

Hey Rick, If you do get your OEM trim painted let me know where you get it done. I've checked out a couple of places that I know (friend of a friend places) but they seem to shady and I'm not convinced that they know how to do the prep work properly, which is key to having it last long.
hey dust why dont you throw a six speeder in there when you do your engine, im mean cause if you know it can be done then it seems like the next logical step for your car if your getting a new engine , justa thought. just cause i dont have the cash to do it dosnt mean other dont. :-(
im pickin up my car tomm from mobile west. let me check it out and see how it looks with oem skirts. also got to ask ross if we can modify them to match up with the front. if so ill give you $200 for them
are they the WW type-r skirts? If so, I want them. And I am very very serious. So hit me up with an email @ pinkcrab@hotmail.com or send me a PM.

hey Rick,
i just got my www front lip like two weeks ago. It looks really good, but i have to admit it looks like thre's something missing a little (side and rear). It kinda makes the front look a lot lower than the rest of the car. I'm lucky in that my 97 without painted skirts is black so with a lot of armor all the skirts shine and almost look painted (but that last like a day) Anyway, in a couple of weeks i'm going to paint the sides and rear. With your green i suspect it may look more drastic so i'm thinking you're gonna want to do the same.
It doesn't look bad at all - it could just look better (-;

that sucks your not gonna put them on man! The rear lip isn't that hard to make fit, were you planning on molding it?? Your skirts don't fit already?? The 98-02 4 dr accord skirts fit absolutely perfect on my car!
Sorry gents, I may have spoke prematurely.

I found a shop up in PA (near the place where I'm getting my engine dropped in) that's willing to cut the rear lip and mold it back together. They want to see the rear lip before giving me an estimate.
So, I'm gonna keep the side skirts and rear lip until I find out how much everything will cost. In the mean time, the front Air Dam will be painted on Monday.
If after I get the estimate from these guys (the week of 8/18), I'll know whether I'm gonna sell the pieces (side skirts and rear lip). For those who already replied to this thread, you'll be the first to know.
Sorry for jumping the gun and listing them for sale. I guess I was so disgusted with what I heard today, I just wanted to get rid of everything.

if you are keeping the skirts and rear lip are you gonna put the side skirts on yourself? its not that hard thats why, and if you think of going the other route just ww front lip and painted side skirts and rear, check out my www and scroll down
Dreamdtt2000: I bought all of the pieces from shatooi.
The only reason I wouldn't have put on the side skirts is because I thought that they would look odd without the rear lip. The depth of the rear lip is about the same as the side skirts and would help offset some of the major depth difference between the side skirts and the front air dam. Installation of the side skirts looked pretty simple.
If I can get the rear lip cut and molded like I want, I'll put on the side skirts.
