AEM V2 question

i recently purchased a AEM V2 intake for a 94-97 accord for my 97 2.2CL. i was told that it would fit. but when i called AEM today they said it wouldnt. i have seen many ppl on this website that have V2's on there CL and regular CAI's from AEM. but i just want to know is AEM wrong or will it fit.

the guy said fitment and driveability would be an issue. and i said its the same engine and he said its very similar yet different. and then my response was ok i can understand possibly minor fitment issues. but can you tell me the driveability issues and he said testing was done to long ago for anyone to remember. lol, i seriously hope it does fit though.
