what is the stock stereo for an 98 acura 2.3 cl premium.....does anyone out there in CL land know?

 

the model number? usually its a Bose system

and all stereos are universal with the Bose as long as you have the radio code

plus why stay stock i would upgrade to a nice headunit

i have a nice alpine head unit under my bed...i dont know how to put it in.....i also heard there is problems with stock amps and speakers when putting in a new head unit...plus i dont want to lose my steering wheel audio controls

 

I'm pretty sure a either PAC or Blitzsafe makes a steering wheel control interface for alpines. Look into it.

 

just bypass the gay stock amps and run wires straight to your new speakers

or just learn to love your stock system

 

On my premiun it wasn't a bose system. From the inside of the tag it is pioneer. It was easy for me to upgrade the deck. Remove the head, use adaptor put in new head.

 

I thought the stock head units were made by panasonic.

 

maybe it was about year along, sounded like crap it went for $130 on ebay for me.
