Ok, I haven't been to this site in the longest. I've been so busy with school that I haven't had time. Well I came here, and I have a couple of questions. Before people start bashing me, I did do a search and I didn't find the answers I was looking for. I saw that somebody on this board was already doing a manual tranny conversion from a CL type-S but with modifications.

I also heard people saying that the manual tranny from the new Accord would fit with little to no modfications. This is what has me interested. I want to know who or why exactly are people speculating on this. Has anyone done it already? Also, I have no idea how much it would cost to buy the tranny and have it installed. Can anyone give me a ballpark figure on how much they think it would cost.

to answer one question, the car needs a new ECU... and since there was no J30 6spd... you have to program one.

I thought the accord 6 speed and the CL-S 6 speed were the same tranny

if they were the same i think i wold go for the accor tranny. hearing from what te 2nd gen clers say, their trannies suck. and i havent heard much about accord trannies being weak.
