So i was going down a hill today and at the bottom of the hill there is a stop sign. Im going about 10 MPH about 200 feet away from the sign all of a sudden the wheels lock up and it starts skidding. ABS kicks in right away and the pedal pushes back 3/4 of the way and pulsates (STUPID idea on Honda's side). It rained all day here and this was at the end of the day. The people going on the cross street didnt have a stop so they didnt stop. I turned the steering wheel to the right the car kept going straight. The road is kinda sloped to the left so i turned the wheel to the left fully. The car starts to turn to the left and skidding sideways. I stop about 10 feet past the sign sideways. If the ABS had not kicked in, I would have been able to stop. I tried pulsing the brakes as is with the ABS working, but it didnt work. While I was driving then, and while i was breaking, i could feel her start slipping but it wasnt so bad and then when the ABS kicked in, it just felt like i was on ice. So far, i hate the ABS system in this car. It doesnt work the way that other systems do in other cars. I HATE IT!!!

False information and misconceptions run rampant.
ABS works at just above a rolling speed, 2-5mph at the maximum. Anything that, or above, will trigger ABS- even in reverse.
ABS is known to increase stopping distances in certain situations, like the one you described above. If you were doing 10mph and the car reacted as dramatically as you said, the road was too slippery for any electronic aid to do anything about it. ABS won't help you in that situation, just as it won't help you on ice. To expect it to is wrong.
Personally, I have owned many cars with ABS and the good things this system provides by far and large outnumber the extremely rare situation where ABS lengthens stopping distances.

Even with ABS you can pulse the brakes yourself, If you do it quickly the ABS won't be able to act. I'm confused also, you have to press the brakes fkn hard for my ABS to kick in. I've never been in a situation where the ABS engaged.
That's never happened to me and it rains all the time here

u really dont have to hit the brake hard for it to activate. it just do right when it scense the wheel are locking up.

its a must to pump the brakes in the snow. otherwise you're gonna slide for a while.

maybe it was an electrical fault? when abs does kick in for me in the snow it works pretty well. of course I don't just keep my foot down, I slowly pulse on the break peddle with my foot, and then the abs stops working and my foot does the rest. If you did't let off the break peddle completely then abs would not have disengaged.
You have to let off completely, then slowly engage the break manually. I live in a very mountainous region too, so when it does snow I get a little ABS action almost every time I drive
