My ABS light lit up, can I go to autozone to check that on their scanner or that only for the Engine light. Thanks

 

my came on for no reason when my battery was about to go out... and it went away as soon as i replaced my battery...

Hmm i just replaced the battery recently. Autozone person i think i went to is not so smart. They gave me a code for Automatic Transmission failure. But i think i can find a away around it . This list a way to get blinking flashing codes.

your abs pump probably went out

Happened to me a few months ago

 

Check your ABS relay under the hood and listen if the ABS pump runs through its self check when u start your car ( u will hear it when u start up)

 

My ABS light turn on when I hit 75MPH. It will turn off after i shut down the car and turn the car back on, and drive it for about 2 minutes... Happens EVERY time.... any suggestions??? Please helpp!!!

 

my friends 96 accord had the same problem with his lights. he thought it was just a electrical problem so he didn't take it in for a while. when he finally did, he had to replace a couple of things for his abs. costing him around $2000 for parts and labor

 

It might be a sensor, that is wat mine was, it go on and off. Finally got it answered. The link has the code for the abs light, that i posted before. I not too sure how to do it but the mechanic did it for me and said it was one of those suckers giving a bad reading. I guess it checks the speed and figures out how to adjust.

 

egr valve if you have a 3.0 it did this for mine and i got mine done at the dealership for free
