aamco transmissions

what do you guys think about aamco transmissions. i'm thinking about going saturday and getting a transmission flush it's the deal that's going for 79.99 i think. i have about 95k miles on my car and i havn't done anything to help the tranny. i got the car at about 50k and i'm pretty sure the previous owner didnt do anything for the transmission either.

so what do you guys say?

thanks

dont wake a dog thats asleep.

hey if your slipping, see if they can diagnose something with a testdrive.

i've heard that flushes/drain-fills are not good to do if your riding smooth

If it shifts ok, you should be cool with a flush. Aamco is alright, they did my tranny rebuild, they're just EXPENSIVE AS HELL

Your tranny is on it's way out then. Get ready, and lube up your asshole, my tranny rebuild from aamco was $2,800. :rippedoff

You could get a tranny cooler, they're cheap, and even if it doesn't work you can use it on your next tranny to ensure longer life.

mine was shifting hard too...i did a tranny flush and maybe noticed it was a lil bit smoother, then my tranny went out for good 3 or 4 month later. i paid about $1800 to rebuilt everything even fixing the tranny caster.
