99 cl problems

hey everyone my friend has a 99 cl and is having a problem its reving on its own or idolin the needles are jumping and the engines is reving on its own any ideas can help solve this problem ? thanks!

i thought this was about to be about a jay-z song. haha sounds like its a vacume line issue or something like that...that would be what would make it have problems idoling

there has been a few discussions about cars doing this on here but the first thing I would look for would be some type of vacuum leak somewhere. If you can't find one of these then if you do a search for it I am sure you will find other answers to this same question

Could also be a dirty IACV. I would check the vacuum lines and take of the IACV and clean it.
