99 3.0 intake inquiry

Im sure its been beaten to death.. Does anyone have suggestions for an intake. Im considering CAI. cause its not as loud, suppse to be better gain, not my worry. But I am concerned about the rain! Do they make a rain guard? How long is the CAI? Does it run close to the ground,?

What about this one

They do run close to the ground sorta, they go down to the inside of your inner fenderwell, but you'd need to be in 2-3 foot deep water to submerge your intake. If you're worried about it, you can get a bypass valve, which is what i did.

My bypass valve is the foam piece inbetween the 2 pieces of the cold air intake
