you guys ever had those people around your class that u know he doesnt like you and he knows that you dont like him? i do and somehow my friend knows him. i was bowling and he gotta ask my friend to ask me for a race with his ugly moving refridgerator look-a-like car. his friend also similar, cocky potheaded mofo with a black SI with exhaust. i didnt care racing them cuz i know ill get em in the high end and they'll get me on the launch with their twin cam, plus they're 300lb lighter. what pisses me off is how the SI guy was challenging me. its just like him picking on a preschooler. such dumb nuts man, sorry guys but the race got called off for some gay reason.

honestly i didnt care if i won or lost, i just didnt want them to be too cocky if they won cuz i would of done some damage. yeah i get alil bit immature in situations like these. rite now i just really wanna know what would of happened. he got a regular matrix with i believe 125hp and i got 150hp. i doubt he moded his engine and all i got is AEM V2 which i say dont make any difference. im an auto and he might be a stick but i dont know, however his arms are like a stick dough.

im pretty sure its lighter and it has an extra 10-15 hp on it... a bit less TQ, but in the high end it would probably beat a 1g... that DOESNT have a J or an H under the hood

im coo off the h22 swap, that was my goal but ill run into tooo much headache. im building my honda motor at home and im taking my sweet o time. them two fuckers dont know shit about cars and they all wanna race and shit. that SI would of beat me bad but thats because he knows he could beat me and he's being so cocky about it.

ive checked, matrix is about 2700lb and im like 3100. pretty much like him racing a packed car.

 

as being in H.S. idk understand what your talking about. but luckily i dont get challenged much by my classmates or kids around town cuz everyone knows my car is slow. lol

 

i use to get challeneged all the time by people in my school who drove tsx's, first gen tl's, lincoln at one point, some honda hatchback (he's just like those kids ur describing that don't know jack), and his moms SAB plus countless other cars. handed thier asses to them everytime. the thing is they didn't kow how to launch thier car at all. when i lauched the 3.0 at 2500rpm i was gone and they couldn't catch up and i just kept pulling away. not to mention none of them know how to drive at all. some people are just morons and are like i got a car lets race ......but don't know jack about anything.

but yea i hate to break it to you guys going on about the Matrix being really slow, but if this kid has the XRS, he would be making 180hp and 130lb-ft to the crank with a 6 speed manual, so i mean it cant be that slow, probaly keep up or beat the Si, but then again he might just have the 130hp-125lb-ft matrix which in that case you probaly would win.

damn toyota should have put that power into the MR-S spyder, same motor just different components.

 

Yea people will always challenge you no matter what you drive.My friend and I were out at the local "races" in his STI when this guy with a cavilier walks up and challenges that my friends car wont beat his......I mean some people have NERVE.

also check if its a XR because i think those have 140 hp and they have the 4WD option so those would keep up with you for sure.

 

130 but yea they could come with AWD, not that it would matter they would still be slow. the XRS came only in FWD, which honestly doesnt matter since to give the higher end model the better drivetrain.
