are they they same? i have a looked up the part numbers for the honda and acura parts site but they use a different part numbering system. i kno they are very similar but i need to know if the knuckles are interchangable.

i found a honda and acura site with similar part number systems.

www.acuraautomotiveparts.org
and
www.slhondaparts.com

it seems like all the 97 accord stuff had the same EXACT part numbers as 97 cl stuff

BUT

when i checked 98 accord stuff compared to 98 2.3 cl stuff, part numbers were SLIGHTLY

off....even things like hubs and disc brakes that should be the same have different part

numbers....

example: 98 accord hub assembly 44600-S84-A00
98 2.3 cl hub assembly 44600-SY8-A00

but 98 accord and 98 cl have both the same parts number for front disc brakes :45251-S84-A01

im confused..

94-97 Accord = 97-99 CL.

I'm pretty sure that the front knuckles from a 98+ accord would be the same as a 2.3 because they both dont have the hub over rotor design. The 94-97 Accords and the 97 2.2 would be the same...

i was actually looking for 2.3 hubs (honda 98 accord? or acura 98 cl)to swap them with the

crappy 97 CL design. its such an easy swap i decided that ill get those parts from honda

cuz i got a good link there. so i found out that the 98 accord hubs are NOT the same as 98-

99 CL. so i couldnt buy the hubs from honda and that i have to find them at acura or

somewhere else. so then i asked myself "what if i just swapped the whole knuckle from a

98 accord?". but they dont work wont fit. need them from 98-99 2.3 CLs ONLY just to get

the rotor over hub setup. then u can get bigger brakes later on if u wanted too......wow

that was long post. hope its readable ahhahah
